I like the command and conquer series, but recently C&C Generals ZH stopped working! It was installed onto my computer a year ago and worked, fine until this month! I double click on the application and then it says 'Access Denied Please login with administrator privileges and try again'. • I am an admin. • This error never did show up until now. I then went on the web to do some research on the topic and found out that for some reason windows 7 had some problems with folder permissions and it said to run the file as an administrator. I know it has to do with the SafeDisc DMR because before the update, I can play it. Do you know if SafeDisk is enabled? If it is not enabled, when you type 'sc start secdrv' into command prompt with administration privileges, it would say that it has not been turned on or it is unable to start. Then you will need to go into the registry and enable it through there. Originally posted by: Mine is Window 8.1, I have similar problem and I have tried everything. If generals launches fine but zero hour does not, SafeDisk DRM would probably be fine. If it was disabled, almost any game that requires a disk to run would not run. (Virtual keys would not be effected.) It could be a problem with the zero hour install. Dose both generals and zero hour that you own run off a disk or have a virtual key?
